Chichén-Itzá The pyramids and temples of Chichén-Itzá are ancient monuments of the remarkable Mayan civilization which date back to between the 10th and 12th centuries. Exploring the site by foot and walking through some of the impressive structures is the best way to experience the beauty of this ancient city with your expert guide. There will be a two-hour guided tour, followed by lunch and one hour for shopping and sightseeing on your own. Offered: May 16: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Travel time from hotel: 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
